I'm not sure how many of you know about the spiritual warfare in Haiti. About 200 years ago, the government leaders dedicated the nation of Haiti to Satan.

Since then, Haiti has seen plenty of destruction, corruption, and poverty. Voodoo is the national religion, although you won't hear that on the news. The daily struggles in Haiti are purely mind games because the people have allowed Satan to control their county. We have always said until the president of Haiti can openly say, we denounce Satan and are relying on God, that Haiti will remain the way it is, no matter who tries to fix it.

Today, I got the best news from Pastor Marcel. THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF has declared a nationwide fast. For this week, starting on Monday and continuing through Sunday, the people of Haiti will be fasting and praying. The schools and businesses will be closed. Here at Destiny Village, we will be fasting our lunch meal and using that time to gather together on the chakoun to pray. I want to encourage some of you to join us in this venture. I believe that once this country turns to God, they will see changes and improvements they could have never imagined. We are believing for miracles, not only in Port-au-Prince, but across the nation. I am urging you to take at least one day this week, if not more, to fast and pray specifically for the country of Haiti. We need to come together and break through the bondage of Haiti.
