This is Ross and I wanted to give you an update on what has happened here recently spiritually. As you already know, the gov't here declared three days of fasting and prayer for all of Haiti. All of the churches in Haiti met together in larger buildings within their cities/villages or they just used their regular church buildings.
They reported 1,000,000 people were gathered around the former palace in PAP. In our nearby town of Mowi there were nearly 25,000 people there each day and on Sunday 580 people gave their hearts to Jesus in that town. There have been incredible stories all over. Just before I preached God gave Patti a message for the church. I asked her to write what God gave her. This is Patti. The message was "God loves the Haitian people with an everlasing love. He has waited so LONG for them to bend their knees before Him. He is waiting now with his arms of love open wide and He is the way, truth, and life. He wants to raise up a mighty army of God in Haiti. An army of people not ASHAMED of the gospel of Christ......not ashamed to say the name Jesus...not ashamed to tell others what Jesus has done for them. He wants the army to have the eyes of the FATHER....seeing and loving people the way He does...seeing people that are on their way to hell if they die....and not willing that any should perish. He wants the army to wake up each day EXPECTING to talk to someone about Jesus...EXPECTING to lead someone to the Lord each day. He wants the army to be filled with the Holy Spirit from the top of their heads to the tip of their toes....so that when they go forth, people will be drawn to them because they are radiating Jesus. If the army will go forth in His name, revival will come to Haiti unlike the world has ever seen....and the army along with the new converts will PROCLAIM JESUS IS LORD OVER HAITI!!!!!!!!" I will try to condense my message for you. There has been a lot of talk around Haiti that the earthquake was God's judgement, that it just happened, that God had nothing to do with it, or that it is Satan who caused it. Also that the end is near! So I talked a little about the end time, the last days, and how the last days actually began when Jesus ascended into heaven. You will recall in the Bible when Jesus goes up into heaven how his disciples stood around looking up. An angel of God came to them and said, "Ye men of Galilee, why are you gazing up into the sky? This same Jesus whom you saw go up will come back again the same way!" From that day until now, we have been looking for his second coming as promised by Jesus himself. (Acts 1:9-11) I talked about how that could not happen until the event known as the "Rapture" occurs, where every Born Again believer is instantly taken away from the earth, "caught up in the air" to meet the Lord and so shall we ever be with Him! I went into some detail about that. (IThess. 4:13-17) There are other signs that would occur before Jesus' second coming, another one being that the Anti-Christ would actually be revealed. I shared how that over the years man has wondered if this one or that one could be the Antichrist. I focused on Adolph Hitler and how many believed he was the Antichrist. How Hitler was no doubt possessed by satan, killing over 6 million Jews, wanting to be "king" of the world (just like lucifer wanted to be God), and how he brought death and destruction. Jn 10:10. I showed them why Hitler could never have been the Antichrist. But what about those 6 million Jews being murdered? No question Hitler was a mad man, but where did satan get permission to destroy those Jews, and just in case you don't believe satan can be invited in to someone's life, where did Hitler get permission to murder all those Jews? YES they had permission! Was if from God? NO! Just like the ancestors of the Haitian people dedicated the country to satan over 200 years ago by making a verbal and written statement, the Jews' ancestors also made a verbal decision to have the innocent blood of Jesus be on their lives and the lives of their children! Read about it in Matthew 27 where Pontius Pilate wants to know what he should do with Jesus! you'll find the answer there. And so from that day until now the nation of Israel has continued to suffer all because of a curse they out on themselves! Likewise, Haiti has suffered for over 200 years by allowing satan to reign and have control. But who gave permission for satan to bring havoc and sin into our lives? Oh yes he had permission from our very first ancestors Adam and Eve. God gave everything to Adam. When Adam disobeyed God (what he was really doing was saying I want to do things my own way), he sold everything he owned to the one who tricked him into disobeying God...satan! God created us to have a free will. We have a choice in this life. Choose life or death! Eternal life or eternal death! And so when Adam disobeyed God, God had to remove Adam from the garden of Eden or His presence (sin) and send him out into the world. He would now have to work an toil because of the sin he committed (Gen. 3:14-19) The only way for the curse that Adam was now under to be broken was for a perfect blood sacrifice to happen. It was not a lamb that could do this, only the Lamb of God, Jesus. The same way for the curse on the Jewish nation to be broken will be when Jews acknowledge that Jesus is the Messiah. Only a very few of them have done that and those that have are often removed from their synagogue. And so now we come to Haiti. Over the past two hundred years satan has had his way with Haiti by stealing from the people, destroying Haiti, an even killing Haitians through the earthquake, recent hurricanes, floods and other disasters over the years. But there is still hope for Haiti! Maybe, just maybe, your President, Senators, and members of Parliment are beginning to see that this deal with satan is not that great! Afterall, what has satan done for Haiti? And by the way what has satan done for you that you continue to want to serve yourself and do your own thing? Here is what satan has done (but what God would not do): 1. Stolen from the people God says, "Thou shall not steal." 2. Destroyed Haiti John 1:3, I (God) has created everything! 3. Caused mass confusion 1Cor. 14:33 says God is not the author of confusion but of peace! 4. Blinded the people mentally and "My people perish for lack of knowledge" spiritually The list goes on! So now people of Haiti it is up to you! You need to continue to pray, fast, and then TAKE ACTION! Now I didn't say to riot, to burn tires in the road, or to throw rocks throw windows. That is being destructive and we all know who likes to destroy things. But instead it's time for you to contact your Senators, your Mayors and other leaders and tell them it is time for the government to renouce the deal with satan and to outlaw all voodoo activity! Get together as towns, villages, cities, and churches and draw up the petition and have everyone sign it. Then take all those signatures to the palace, to the President and put them on his front door! You know the earthquake caused many deaths in Haiti and it destroyed alot of homes, businesses, and othe property. But you know God didn't do that. He does not destroy and he does not murder. That is what satan does! But God does take something that we think is bad and turns it around for good (Ro. 8:28). And so I say to you I think God for the earthquake! Yes praise the Lord fpr the earthquake! Would Carnival (Mardi Gras) have ever been cancelled if the earthquake had not happened? Has it ever been cancelled before? Would Haiti have come together as a nation for these 6 days of prayer and fasting with the EQ? Would all these many people have come to the Lord if the EQ had not happened? Would the door to ban satan from Haiti have ever opned this wide if the EQ had not happened? So we praise God for the good that will come and is going to come! If I could speak to your President here is what I would say: Mr. President, your country has legally given control to satan for more than 200 years. What good has it done for anyone? Mr. President, isn;t it time for you to legally renounced that deal? Isn';t it time for you to give Jesus a chance in this country....legally? And Mr. President, don't ask for 200 years from Jesus, or 100 years. How about just ONE DAY! Watch and see what the God of the universe will do in one day that will spill over into the rest of the time Haiti has been assigned! It's time for a real change for Haiti and I believe that change is happening now! That was the condensed version! Well as soon as I was finished Pastor Marcel was all fired up and started barking out orders to the church and he told me I was coming with him that day to St. Marc to preach this message to all the people there. Was I surprised to see the crowd of way more than 20,000 people! Packed in tight on the streets in the town square. These people had been there since Friday morning. It was incredible and such an honor for me to be able to bring a message to so many people. I must say that I enjoyed their excitement. There were at least 30 pastors from all around St. Marc on the platform and about 2-300 people (maybe more) got saved just on that day. The man who owned the sound equipment that the churches rented for the three days came up and gave his heart to the Lord too! I feel so honored that God would allow me to see this great work He is doing in Haiti. Keep praying for the legal change in Haiti as I believe that is the key to the real coming revival for this nation! In His Service, Ross |
