Destiny Village

Children...the heartbeat of Destiny Village...the reason for Destiny Village...the joy of Destiny Village!

Samuel, Daniel, and Makendy Valére are brothers who came to Destiny Village in September of 2005.  They came to Destiny Village because both of their parents died with complications from anemia. 

All three of the boys take folic acid every day to keep them healthy and strong. 

As you can see, Samuel and Daniel are twins who are now 11 years old.  Samuel is in 3rd grade and Daniel is in 2nd grade.  They both like to eat pizza and play Nintendo. 

Makendy is 8 years old and also in 2nd grade.  He likes playing Nintendo as well and his favorite color is blue. 

Samuel's favorite thing about Destiny Village is going to church. 

Daniel is glad that he came to Destiny Village because now he can go to school. 

And Makendy said that his favorite thing about living at Destiny Village is that he gets to eat three times a day!
