Will you?

The Great Commission is very plain and simple...GO! And yet, it seems so easy to sit back and assume that someone else will take care of the need. Christians do it every day. We ask Bob, “How are you?” Bob responds with a long detailed description of how horrible his life is currently. We shake our head in concern and say, “Gee, Bob, I hope things get better for you.”  Well, of course, we hope things get better…but what are we going to do about it?

We can pray for Bob. We can help Bob financially. We can offer our skills and services to Bob.

OR we can just “hope” things get better for Bob.

Which one shows Bob the love of Christ? Which approach will minister to Bob the way Jesus ministered while he was here on Earth? Scripture says they will know we are Christians by our love…will they??
